The Age Of Terror Is Upon Us: A Vampire Hunter$, Inc. Campaign
Background: Vampiric abilities offer a dark and seductive path to power, but not everyone who walks that path goes the same distance. There are many strains of vampirism and vampiric power, and you are a dhampir; a half-vampire.
Dhampirs come from from three sources; those created by vampires, those created by humans, and those created ‘naturally’. Vampires can infuse favored thralls with vampiric power, granting them a host of vampire-like abilities without turning them. Powerful blood magic rituals can do much the same thing, fusing vampiric blood with living human tissue to create powerful inhuman monsters; many such dhampirs were created out of American soldiers during Operation Orlok. Finally, when a pregnant woman survives a vampire attack, her child will be a dhampir.
Regardless of how you acquired your abilities, you have immersed yourself in your vampiric abilities as much as you can. As a living creature with vampiric traits, you lack many of the weaknesses of true vampires, while retaining many of their tricks and strengths.
Ability Scores: Dexterity is your primary ability score; as a nocturnal hunter, you possess inhuman speed and agility. Charisma is your secondary ability score; your force of will helps to fuel your dark powers. Strength is your tertiary ability score; your vampiric strength helps to make you more resilient, and is required for certain combat techniques.
Role: Striker. Your collection of self buffs, melee powers, and movement abilities mark you as a skirmisher. You lean towards Controller as a secondary role.
